| i'm thinking of picking up a higher mileage older (86-92) range suburban to basically use only to tow the Z to the further car shows/meets (like zcon). I started looking and can find some decent deals on older 4x4 suburbans and can always have my paint guy do a matching paint job on her for like a grand. I am not so interested in pickups (never liked them) mainly because i like having the more accessible inside area of an SUV incase i bring my g/f and dog to shows and meets. The more i think about it the more i dont want to drive my Z long distances to meets (almost any meet is at least 5hrs each way) b/c of the added wear & tear to the car and paint job, plus after i do a custom rear sub set up in her i honestly wont be able to fit anything in her for a weekend or longer trip. I was curious if anyone here has experience w/ these older suburbans or even older K5 blazer and could recommend anything or give some advice on them. Again, i wouldnt even use it around town - it would just be to pack it up and haul the Z. Thanks in advance, Wagz
